Announced as one of the main acts at the Millenium Rap, a festival that happens tomorrow in São Paulo, the group 509-E may not participate anymore. The two members of the group, Dexter and Afro-X, are inmates at the Casa de Detenção jail, and did not get the official papers to leave prison and play the festival that features the greatest names in Brazilian rap, such as Racionais MCs, Tahíde & DJ Hum and Xis. According to the group's label, Atração Fonográfica, they are still trying, but the chances look small. Last year, two members of the rap group Estação Carandiru escaped from the jail after getting permission to perform outside of Casa de Detenção.
