Ana Martins, the daughter of singers and songwriters Joyce and Nelson Ângelo, played only one show in Brazil, last year, to promote her dabut album, Futuros Amantes 30, which came out on the Japanese label Rip Curl Records. The CD, featuring guest appearances by Joyce and João Donato, shall not be released in Brazil, but was so successful in Japan that Ana is already preparing a follow-up. The repertoire might include bossa composers like Dori Caymmi, Carlos Lyra & Ronaldo Bôscoli, Tom Jobim, Chico Buarque & Djavan, Baden Powell & Vinicius de Moraes and João Gilberto, as well as mom & dad's own songs. The disc should be ready by July, when Ana will travel to Japan for the first time. Jorge Hélder (bass), Marcos Suzano (percussion), Henry Lentino (mandolin), Ricardo Costa, Tutty and Carlos César (drums), Nelson Ângelo and Paulo Aragão (guitars), Hugo Pilger (cello) and the Maogani guitar quartet will accompany her.
