André Juarez makes a live album

Vibraphone player André Juarez and his quartet will record a live album this week. Brazilian and Latin songs with jazzy arrangements, besides Modern Jazz Quartet standards, are to be featured in the repertoire. This is going to be Juarez's third album, as he remains determined to turn the vibraphone into a popular instrument in Brazil: "Even though the vibraphone is not well-known in the country, its sound works perfectly for Brazilian music", he believes.
