The debut CD is due next semester. Meanwhile, the group Barbatuques performs around São Paulo. Musicians Ale Balaban, André Hosoi, André Venegas, Bruno Buarque, Eduardo Silva, Fernando Barboza, Giba Alves, Luiz Gayotto, Lu Horta, Mairah Rocha, Maurício Maas and Renato Epstein use tap dancing, hand clapping and other fashions of body percussion to produce the sounds in their music. The repertoire is based upon Brazilian folklore and improvisations that include the participation of the audience.
