Bossa anniversary at the Carnegie Hall and in Italy

So as to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the legendary bossa nova concert at the Carnegie Hall in New York City, producer Solange Kafuri has a project for a concert, to take place at the same location next year. The guests would be some of the same ones who performed in the first event (like Roberto Menescal, Sérgio Ricardo, Oscar Castro Neves, Sérgio Mendes and even João Gilberto), as well as new bossa acts. Solange is also involved in a bossa nova tribute in the town of Pavia, Italy, during the Fare Festival 2001, on May 19th, featuring Roberto Menescal, Marcos Valle, Wanda Sá and Danilo Caymmi.
