BPM through French-German lenses

The French-German TV network ARTE is preparing a two-hour documentary on BPM called A Trip to Brazil. The directors are Throster Schüte (from Germany) and the French brazilianist Dominique Dreyfus, who has written books on Luiz Gonzaga and Baden Powell. The movie should be finished by March, co-produced by São Paulo-based TV Cultura. It tells a summed up story of Brazilian music through the words and performances of Gilberto Gil, Milton Nascimento, João Bosco, Carlos Lyra, Martinho da Vila, Pedro Luís e a Parede, Neguinho do Samba, Maracatu Nação Pernambuco, Noca da Portela, Joyce, Robertinho Silva, Henrique Cazes and others.
