Prior to the celebration of Clementina de Jesus’ 100th birthday (which will happen in 2002), EMI and (oil company) Petrobrás are preparing an 8-CD box set with the nine albums that the singer released on EMI between 1965 and 1979. The package includes a booklet with plenty of pictures and texts, but only 3 thousand copies of the box set will be made, with directed distribution – to universities and museums, for instance. The project was devised by Hermínio Bello de Carvalho, who produced many of her albums. Some of the titles available will be Mudando de Conversa, Fala Mangueira, Marinheira Só and Clementina de Jesus (with Carlos Cachaça).
