The Rio de Janeiro-based band Gangrena Gasosa (or Gas Gangrene) starts touring around Europe in May, to promote their latest album, Smells Like a Tenda Espírita. The Explicit Grossness Tour comprises 24 concerts in countries like Germany (from 3rd to 6th; 10th to 23rd and 27th), Belgium (7th), Holland (8th and 9th), Czech Republic (24th) and Austria (25th and 26th). "We are bringing all of the stage props - umbanda entity costumes, statues, candles - that we use in Brazil", reveals Angelo Arede, one of the vocalists with Gangrena, adding that their music is being tagged voodoo core in the northern hemisphere. "They say it has nothing to do with metal, really", he laughs. According to Angelo, the band's projects continue. When they finish the tour, Gangrena will make a new videoclip with renowned director Allan Sieber and start recording the third album, to be named Tá Amarred Olho Big!.
