Herbert is paraplegic, but could walk within a year

The last bulletin announced this afternoon by the doctors at the Copa D'Or hospital informs that singer and songwriter Herbet Vianna is paraplegic and might spend the next 12 months unable to move his legs. The leader of the band Paralamas do Sucesso broke the 12th vertebra when the monoplane that he was flying crashed into the sea, killing his wife, Lucy, on February 4th. The medical team, though, claims that the situation could be controlled, and that there is a 50% chance that the musician will walk again. Herbert should leave the hospital within 11 days and will have nurses accompany him at home 24 hours a day.
