Ratos do Porão vocalist, João Gordo, had yet another scary experience on the last days of Y2K. He was rushed to a hospital in São Paulo due to breathing problems and arrhythmia. Gordo remained for four days in the Intensive Care Unit, but spent the New Year holidays at home. This time around, it wasn't because of cigarttes, which Gordo swears that he has abandoned. "I had a bit too much tequilla and ended up in the hospital. But I'm alright, now", says the incorrigible vocalist, who's already in studio, preparing the new Ratos do Porão album before the band goes on a brief tour round Japan.
