Singer Eugenia Melo e Castro, from Portugal, is celebrating her 20-year career with a pack of six CDs, between original albums and compilations, which are now coming out in Brazil. The long time fan of MPB has spent time between Lisbon and Rio/São Paulo from the very beginning, having recorded quite a few Brazilian standards (Chico Buarque and Tom Jobim, for example), as well as newer composers (Arnaldo Antunes, Herbert Vianna). Eugenia is expected to play a series of concerts on the main capitals (Belém, Manaus, Porto Alegre, Curitiba, etc) early this year.
