There won't be just the Rock In Rio Festival for those who enjoy big outdoor concerts. From January 31 to February 4, Salvador, capital of Bahia, will house the Festival Verão Salvador 2001 (a Summer festival). With three stages (2001, Mundo Pop (Pop World) and Mundo Nativo (Native World)), it gathers some of the main BPM, axé and rock names in Brazil - among which, the six bands that gave up playing the Rock In Rio fest: Skank, O Rappa, Cidade Negra, Raimundos, Charlie Brown Jr and Jota Quest. Surf rock bands V.Spy V.Spy and Ganggajang, from Australia, will also play the fest, which can be checked out at www.ibahia.com/festival/
