ROCK CITY, 9:40 p.m. – With an unmistakable set list, the rock’n’roll band Barão Vermelho played their last show before taking a yearlong break. Active for 20 years, they resumed a consistently successful career by playing one hit after another. Maior Abandonado, Pense e Dance, Ponto Fraco, Por Que a Gente é Assim?, Bete Balanço and others. The band also played the first edition of the Rock In Rio festival (1985), and tonight they paid tribute to Barão’s former vocalist, Cazuza, dead in 1990, with the songs O Poeta Está Vivo and O Tempo Não Para. Pro Dia Nascer Feliz closed the set and left the audience satisfied.
