Axé is not the only music style to rule in Bahia. On Friday, during the Summer Festival in Salvador, the rapper MV Bill from Rio de Janeiro crammed the Mundo Pop (Pop World) stage right when Daniela Mercury was getting booed by the audience that was waiting for the hardcore group Raimundos (who would perform after her) on the main stage. Bill, who had the audience sing along to his anti-hits, felt very much at home and performed new songs like Só Mais Um Maluco. MV Bill is being charged with criminal behavior due to the realistic scenes on the videoclip of the song Soldado do Morro. He is expected on court on February 9th for the hearings.
