Tribute to Bob Marley in São Paulo

The ultimate reggae icon, whose albums are constantly being reprinted, Bob Marley (1945-1981) will be remembered for the 20 years of his death on May 19th, during the 1º Festival Nacional de Reggae (1st National Reggae Festival). Twelve local acts like Dionorina (Bahia), Canamaré (Rio), Salvação (Espírito Santo), Rasta Joint (Minas Gerais), Djambi (Paraná), Acústico Marley (Rio Grande do Sul) and Ras Bernardo (Rio) will perform on the stages "Bob" and "Marley". Fourty thousand people are expected to attend the event that should last for twelve hours.
