Universidade Livre Tom Jobim offers free courses

Important MPB composers and musicians will be teaching and giving free workshops next semester at the Universidade Livre Tom Jobim (Tom Jobim Free College), in São Paulo. There will be three thousand openings for courses on voice and instruments, besides workshops for children, adolescents, adults and senior citizens. Pianist Arrigo Barnabé (composition), saxophonist and maestro Roberto Sion (Improvisation), Ulisses Rocha (acoustic guitar) and songwriter José Miguel Wisnik (Brazilian tunes) are some of the teachers. Applications from January 15th to 24th, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m till 9 p.m. at the Brooklin (+55 11 241 3650) and Bom Retiro (+55 11 221 0750) branches.
