The album Amália/Vinicius, a recording made during a music meeting at Amália Rodrigues' home in 1970, has just been released in Portugal on EMI. The disc (originally a double LP) features Amália singing and playing and Vinicius reciting his poems, along with Ary dos Santos, Natália Correia and David Mourão-Ferreira. The Brazilian presence in the Portuguese pop has been incresing, as well: Adriana Calcanhotto appears in Alma Mater, Rodrigo Leão's latest album. She sings the track A Casa with the former Madredeus member. Fernanda Abreu, in her turn, recorded her song Dois on Música Exótica para Filme, Rádio e TV, latest release by the funk-jazz-electronica group Cool Hipnoise.
